Through one of her distinctive projects, the "Extraordinary Stenciled Effects Program," Melanie Royals has conceived and developed many of the world's best-known and appreciated stencil techniques and decorative finishes, combining stencil patterns with enamels, plasters, and textures.

Over the past 15 years, Melanie Royals has fueled her passion for travel and diverse decorative cultures by organizing retreats dedicated to painted decoration in numerous countries, including Morocco, where she has opened a Guest House/Art Studio in the Medina of Marrakech.
