The Be Grateful Wall Paper collection represents a journey through diverse landscapes and cultures, all the way to Eastern countries like Saudi Arabia and its ploughed fields which inspired the creation of the "Fields" pattern. It features three color variants that range from neutral tones enriched with metallic details, to a multi-color version in digital print. We are in the middle of one of the driest deserts on the planet, in Saudi Arabia. This area is called Al-Basayta, where wheat and horticultural products are cultivated, wresting the land from hyper-arid desert zones. The water used for irrigation is fossil water, pumped from non-renewable underground aquifers, a kilometer deep beneath the desert and dating back to the ice ages. It is distributed in a circular pattern, which is why the fields are perfectly round. This technique is known as "center-pivot agriculture," a method of irrigation where all the irrigation equipment rotates around a central pivot. The different colors indicate the field's activity status: the greener circles are active fields, while others are in the process of sowing or temporarily abandoned. And it's somewhat like looking down from above at Dubai's palm-shaped island.
