In the heart of Milan, a grand event dedicated to the sanctity of life unfolds, offering a new vision of the animal world to seek new rules of coexistence on Planet Earth.
“The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.” - Gandhi
On the occasion of the launch of the "Tessuto Liquido" collection, which features a careful selection of luminous finishes inspired by the most precious fabrics, Novacolor participates in the creation of Bestiario, a grand urban art installation by the eclectic artist Angelo Cruciani, designed to rediscover the unique, complex, and essential relationship between humans, nature, and animals, located on Via Mercanti in Milan.
The art project is an invitation to reestablish a balance with the environment to save ourselves and the planet, concepts long supported by the Venetian group's brand. The initiative is patronized by the WWF and the City of Milan, which has included it in the summer program "Milano è viva".
The installation, occupying over 500 square meters of Via dei Mercanti, is conceived as a form of “philosophical, cultural, and social reflection” to stimulate the public’s perception of a delicate and increasingly urgent issue: the role of humans in relation to nature. To create the works dedicated to the animal world, the artist chose Tessuto Liquido, which with its golden effects perfectly reproduces the halos that characterize the animals of the Bestiario, but especially because it represents a true technological and aesthetic innovation with its green formulation based on biomass, a process certified by RedCert2.
Tessuto Liquido by Novacolor offers precious metallic accents, seductive light plays alternating with tactile effects reminiscent of precious silks. These decorative finishes find their roots in one of Italy's many excellences, the artisanal craft, made of hand-woven brocades and precious fabrics.
Bestiario aims to be a tale of an enchanted world, highlighting the immense richness represented by the presence of animals and nature on the planet. A visual game, which thanks to the luminous notes created with Tessuto Liquido, expresses deep meanings by juxtaposing the portrayed animals with sacred iconography and the light of the vital spark that exists in every form of life.
Novacolor drives international circular design trends in Shanghai.
At Milan Design Week, Novacolor presents a space dedicated to meditation and relaxation, where one can connect with nature expressed through the walls, created with the new product Materia Viva.
The 8 September event organised by Novacolor at Theatro hub in Milan to discuss about innovation, relationships and culture, hosted a conversation with the Chinese partner Guangdong Bardese Chemical Co., Ltd, the internationally renowned Italian architect Joseph di Pasquale, author of the iconic Guanzghou Circle with his JDP Architects, and the Chinese Architecture Academy Vice President Mr. Zheng Shaowen.
