In the heart of Belek, Turkey, the Maxx Royal Belek Hotel stands out as an example of contemporary architecture where aesthetics, durability, and functionality coexist in perfect balance. A project by Baraka Architecture, which chose to enhance the exterior surfaces of the building through a coating capable of evoking the solidity and elegance of concrete: Concrete by Novacolor.
Concrete by Novacolor is a thick acrylic-siloxane coating with a fine grain, designed to give surfaces a textured and contemporary appearance. Baraka Architecture’s choice was not only aesthetic but also functional: this coating ensures high resistance to weathering and protects surfaces from algae and mold, guaranteeing long-lasting performance over time.
The project was further enriched by the use of Fase Silossanica glazes, which allowed the modulation of textures and depths, transforming the surfaces into dynamic architectural skins capable of reacting to light and enhancing every compositional detail.
A constant dialogue between technique and creativity has made this intervention a true visual narrative.
The Maxx Royal Belek Hotel demonstrates how technical materials can go beyond mere protective functions to become expressive tools for architecture. In this project, Concrete by Novacolor is not just a coating but a narrative element that helps define the very identity of the building, turning it into a landmark of the contemporary landscape of the Turkish coast.
