The master decorators Jana Hezselyova, Pier Pramori, Emjil Berdin, and the conceptual photographer Aida Boldeanu bring to the stage a celebration of creativity and experimentation that explores an evolved and enterprising concept of decor design.
Wall art is a key element in the experience of a space. It is a fundamental piece in the journey towards defining a clear and conscious perception of design. This is where the idea of the master decorators and Novacolor Ambassadors Jana Hezselyova, Pier Pramori, Emjil Berdin originated: to experiment and explore new expressive channels through increasingly tested human and professional connections.
The “Art is Home” exhibition, open until September 4 in the multifunctional space of Vnitroblock in Prague, is the brainchild of the three Novacolor Ambassadors in collaboration with the conceptual photographer Aida Boldeanu. In this exhibition, decoration and photography become part of a shared territory of emotions without limits or boundaries. Art, therefore, acts as a crossroads where currents mix into a unique harmony and beauty, allowing the Ambassadors to become spokespeople for a message of expressive freedom to be experienced through every perception.
“Art comes in many forms, and we aim to show that there are no limits to materials, expression, or surfaces. We decided to work with photography because it is very close to a concept of artistic wall decoration that resonates with us. We chose to collaborate with Aida because she is very sensitive to themes related to the body and its imperfect beauty.” - Jana Hezselyova, Novacolor Ambassador and Decorator.
The body is thus the protagonist of artworks (available for purchase) created with decorative techniques on photography, and it is described as a vessel for the soul, a “home” that reflects the identity of its inhabitant. For this reason, the body should be portrayed through an authentic, courageous, and conscious language, which corresponds to the same audacity that professional decorators should introduce into their design proposals: “With this collaboration, we want to reach more people, motivate them not to neglect surfaces, and not to be afraid of opting for bold ideas. With our label-free paintings, we want to express the urgency of approaching new ways of living decoration.” - Pier Pramori and Emjil Berdin, Novacolor Ambassadors and Decorators.
Tactile design, sophisticated atmosphere, material surfaces, and essential volumes shape a sensorial experience conceived for contemporary hospitality.
