Marco Nanni Award
The Award is dedicated to those professional decorators who leave their mark through a distinctive and personal style.
The Award is named in memory of Ambassador Marco Nanni, a craftsman and master decorator born in the Forlì area, who accompanied the early years of the brand, channeling his emotional sensitivity into Novacolor's decorative art. An eternal talent, marked by great human and professional generosity, he shared his knowledge and experience without hesitation to promote the dissemination of Italian decorative culture abroad and to train a new generation of skilled artisans.
The face of the decorator awarded each year is portrayed through an artistic and pictorial language: a portrait shaped by the photographer’s vision, blending with the decorator’s work, style, and techniques. The aim is to highlight how decorative art is a true projection of the decorator’s soul and creativity, and vice versa.
Thus, the artwork becomes the artist, and the artist becomes their artwork. The resulting image is an emotional unicum, boundless and limitless.

Second EditionNauzika Perra has distinguished herself for her unique ability to translate emotions and stories into decorative surfaces. Her work stands out for the masterful use of materials and painting techniques. Each of her creations is a true journey between imagination and reality, where painting becomes a medium for storytelling and evoking emotions. Her decorative surfaces are not only visually stunning but also convey a powerful expressive force.
The concept behind the shot by photographer Matteo Imbriani is that art is not just something that is created, but something that lives, something that engages in a dialogue with both its creator and its observer. For this reason, Ambassador Nauzika is not just the protagonist: she literally merges with her artwork, becoming an integral part of it. The shades and textures of the decoration extend over her figure, enveloping her in a visual embrace, while an abstract face emerges from the very material, symbolizing her creation coming to life.

First EditionIf for Marco Nanni, artistic flair often meant abstract pictorial decoration, explored through the use of lime, vivid colors, and oxidations, for the winner of the first 2024 edition, Pier Pramori, the recognition is tied to a more concrete pictorial approach, allowing him to transform portraits of human and animal life into decorative walls with explosive intimacy.
For this first edition, photographer Gianluca Cisternino has chosen to offer us a subjective and personal vision of Pier Pramori and his stylistic signature, through a shot that combines decorative art and futuristic graphic elements, reshaping the decorator's profile into an unprecedented projection of his personality.
